A buying merchandise for sale, while having much in common with other types of buying, also has some major differences. It is not that simple to buy something to sell from retail outlets considering the dynamics in customer demand – particularly in IT and other FMCG industries. This workshop looks at the role of the retail buyer and their involvement with supply chain. Participants will also get the feel of category management as part of this workshop delivery.
